켐프 멜톤 하프 코트는 일본 카토리(Katori) 사의 고밀도 켐프 멜톤 울(울 100%)로 제작한 하프 코트입니다. 켐프(kemp)는 양모 가운데 굵고 불규칙하게 자라는 섬유로, 염색이 잘 되지 않아 일반적으로는 품질이 낮다고 여겨져 왔습니다. 그러나 이 원단에서는 켐프가 남긴 자연스러운 흰 네프(nep)와 거친 입자감이 오히려 풍성하고 깊이 있는 질감을 만들어냅니다. 그래서 켐프 멜톤은 멜톤 본래의 바람 차단력·형태 안정성·보온성에 시각적인 입체감과 고유한 소재의 표정까지 더한 원단입니다.
코트는 카 코트(car coat) 실루엣을 바탕으로 한 하프 기장입니다. 카라를 세우면 바람을 막아 주는 하이넥 구조에 플랩 포켓과 히든 버튼 여밈을 더해 디자인을 절제했습니다. 소매는 팔의 자연스러운 곡선을 따라 테일러링해 구조적인 형태를 유지하면서도 편안하게 입을 수 있습니다.
안감 전체에 3온스 패딩 충전재를 더해 멜톤의 보온성을 한층 높였고, 넥 안쪽에는 울트라 스웨이드(ultra suede)를 배색해 피부에 닿는 부분을 부드럽고 포근하게 마감했습니다.
The KEMP MELTON HALF COAT is made from high-density kemp melton wool (100% wool) by the Japanese mill Katori. Kemp is a coarse, irregular fibre found in wool. Because it takes dye poorly, it has usually been treated as a flaw. In this cloth, however, its natural white neps and rough grain create a rich, deep texture. Kemp melton keeps the wind resistance, shape retention and warmth of classic melton, and adds visual depth and a character of its own.
The coat is based on a car coat silhouette and cut to half length. A high-neck collar can be turned up against the wind, and flap pockets and a hidden button placket keep the design restrained. The tailored sleeves follow the natural curve of the arm, so the coat feels structured but still comfortable.
The entire lining has a 3 oz padded fill that adds to the warmth of the melton, and the inside of the neck is finished in ultra suede, which is soft against the skin.

- 물세탁, 표백, 텀블 건조를 하지 마십시오.
- 다림질은 낮은 온도에서 천을 덧대어 해 주십시오.
- 착용 후에는 옷솔로 결 방향을 따라 가볍게 먼지를 털어 주십시오.
- 표면의 흰 네프와 켐프 섬유는 원단 고유의 특성이므로 잡아당기지 마십시오.
- 넥 안쪽 울트라 스웨이드는 마찰과 물기에 주의해 주십시오.
- 어깨 폭에 맞는 두꺼운 옷걸이에 걸어 통풍이 잘되는 곳에 보관해 주십시오.
- 장기 보관할 때는 방충제를 함께 넣어 주십시오.
- Dry clean only.
- Do not wash, bleach or tumble dry.
- Iron on low heat with a pressing cloth.
- After wearing, brush lightly along the grain to remove dust.
- White neps and kemp fibres are a natural feature of the cloth. Do not pull them.
- Protect the ultra suede at the inner neck from friction and moisture.
- Hang on a wide, shoulder-fitting hanger in a well-ventilated place.
- Use moth protection for long-term storage.
