Henri Cotton의 FFC(Fly Fishing Club) 와 DOCUMENT (도큐먼트)와 협업은
플라이 피싱을 삶의 방식으로 바라보는 사람들과 함께합니다. 

첫번째 시즌, 자연 속에서의 낚시를 조명한 FFC와 DOCUMENT는
두번재 시즌은 도시에서도 플라이 피싱은 가능한가라는 질문이 도큐먼트와 헨리코튼의 협업을 설명하는 것이라고 생각했습니다. 

 그 질문에 가장 현실적인 답을 보여준 도시는
노르웨이의 수도, 오슬로입니다.
맑은 강이 도심을 가로지르고,
사람들은 콘크리트 구조물 사이에서도 낚시를 합니다.
플라이 피싱은 이곳에서도 이어지고 있었습니다. 

Svein Røbergshagen 은 
오슬로에서 오랜 시간 플라이 피싱을 실천해 오신 분입니다.


낚시는 단순한 취미가 아니라,
자연과 물의 흐름을 관찰하고 계절의 변화를 따라가는 방식으로
그분의 일상 속에 깊게 자리하고 있습니다. 

그는 많은 사람이 찾는 장소가 아닌,
덜 알려진 수역에서 낚시를 즐기며
그 안에서 자신만의 리듬을 만들어오셨습니다. 

현재는 오슬로의 플라이 피싱 전문 샵 Vak Fluefiske를 직접 운영하고 계시며,
지역 낚시 문화와도 긴밀하게 연결되어 활동하고 계십니다. 

오슬로에서 플라이 피싱을 즐기는 이들 사이에서
Røbergshagen 님의 이름은 낯설지 않습니다. 햇살이 드는 오후,
그가 캐스팅 루프를 그리는 순간,
낚시줄은 공중에서 부드러운 곡선을 그리고
그 표정은 자연스럽게 밝아집니다.


그가 이 순간을 진심으로 즐기고 있다는 것이
전해지며, 우리는 그 순간을 기록했습니다. 

 그 장면은 단순한 기술이 아니라,
반복되는 행위 속에서
매번 새로움을 발견해 온 사람의 태도를 보여줍니다. 

DOCUMENT는 이번 협업을 통해
그 반복을 기록하고,
그 안에 존재하는 작은 차이에 집중합니다. 많은 이들이 그들이 추구하는 것을 지속하기 위해 노력합니다. 

플라이 피싱은 아마도 삶에 대한 이야기일지 모릅니다. 

Fly fishing, perhaps, is a way of living. Henri Cotton FFC × DOCUMENT / Urban Fly Fishing in Oslo The collaboration between Henri Cotton’s FFC (Fly Fishing Club) and DOCUMENT
brings together those who view fly fishing not simply as a sport,
but as a way of life. In the first season, FFC and DOCUMENT focused on fly fishing in nature.
For the second season, a new question shaped the direction of the project:
Is fly fishing possible in the city? That question became the starting point of this collaboration. And the city that offered the clearest, most practical answer
was Oslo, the capital of Norway. A clean river runs through the center of the city.
People cast their lines between concrete structures.
Fly fishing continues—even here. Svein Røbergshagen has practiced fly fishing in Oslo for many years.
For him, fishing is not just a hobby,
but a way to observe the flow of water,
to follow the changing of the seasons—
a rhythm deeply embedded in his daily life. He doesn’t fish where most people go.
He prefers lesser-known waters,
and in those quiet places,
he has developed a rhythm of his own. Today, he runs a fly fishing specialty shop in Oslo called Vak Fluefiske,
where he remains deeply connected to the local fishing community—
sharing his experience, knowledge, and philosophy. Among those who fish in Oslo,
his name is well known. On a sunny afternoon,
as he casts a perfect loop into the air,
the line draws a soft arc across the sky.
His face lights up with a natural smile. That moment, quietly joyful and completely sincere,
was something we felt compelled to record. It was not just about technique.
It was about a person who, through repetition,
continues to discover something new each time. Through this collaboration,
DOCUMENT seeks to observe that repetition—
and focus on the subtle differences within it. Many people work to continue doing what they believe in.
Fly fishing, perhaps,
is one way to talk about that kind of life.
