1943년, 조종사였던 요셉 보이스(Joseph Beuys) 의 비행기는 러시아 상공에서 격추되었습니다.그는 타타르족 원주민들에게 구조되어, 그들의 전통에 따라온몸에 기름을 바른 채 펠트 담요에 싸인 상태로 며칠 동안 누워 있었다고 전해집니다.그 실존적인 경험은 이후 그의 대표작 〈Felt Suit〉 의 영감이 되었고,“보호”와 “회복”의 상징으로 자리 잡았습니다.

BEUYS FELT SUIT JACKET 에서 영감을 받아 제작된 이번 시즌 자켓은펠트 수트의 감도를 유지하면서 네이비 울 멜톤 버전으로 새롭게 선보입니다.

원단은 고밀도의 Wool Melton Fabric (울 100%) 으로,표면이 매끄럽고 단단하며 형태 안정성이 뛰어나착용 시 구조적인 실루엣을 자연스럽게 유지합니다.펠트 울이 지녔던 깊이 있는 질감을 멜톤의 견고함으로 재해석했습니다.

디자인은 더블 버튼 형식의 히든 프런트 여밈 구조로 구성되며,이번 시즌에는 로우 컷 디테일과 라벨 장식을 모두 배제하여보다 절제되고 순수한 형태감으로 완성되었습니다.안감 또한 원단과 자연스럽게 어우러지는 사양으로 구성되어,착용 시 단정하면서도 깊은 여운을 남깁니다.

In 1943, pilot Joseph Beuys’s aircraft was shot down over Russia.He was rescued by Tatar tribesmen who, following their tradition,covered his body in fat and wrapped him in felt to preserve warmth.Days later, upon awakening, Beuys turned this near-death experienceinto the foundation of his iconic artwork — the Felt Suit,a symbol of protection and recovery.

Drawing inspiration from the BEUYS FELT SUIT JACKET,this season’s version reinterprets its spirit through a navy wool melton fabric.

Crafted from dense 100% Wool Melton,the jacket features a smooth yet firm texture, excellent warmth, and structural stability.It translates the tactile depth of felt into the precision and resilience of melton.

The silhouette follows a double-breasted form with concealed front buttons,stripped of raw-cut details and labels for a cleaner, more essential expression.A newly refined lining complements the fabric’s weight and presence,creating a composed and enduring impression.
